About Us

Tale on Fire works as a collaborative company to devise tales using physical theatre, live music, and new writing. We work to create vibrant and innovative performances that both touch and enthral our audiences.

Tale on Fire has worked in various incarnations for the past 5 years. Firstly as part of Against All Odds at the Burton Taylor Theatre, Oxford; then as Grazing Lab whose successful Into the Closet went to the Embassy Theatre, London, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2005, and The East End Collaboration Festival. Tale on Fire has also worked with the Blue Elephant Theatre, London.

Tale on Fire took their debut show Sing a Storm of Blackbirds to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2006, where they received countless four-star reviews and were long listed for the Total Theatre Awards and short listed to the final six for The Stage Awards, Best Ensemble category.

We are now looking forward to a bright and prosperous future, as we continue to be creative, motivated and on fire.
